How sponsored placements work

Sponsored placements are ad slots matched to a user's area, station, gym type, budget, and trial intent. They do not sell the normal search ranking.

Clearly labeled ads

Sponsored slots are labeled with SPONSORED, PR, or similar wording so they stay distinct from normal search results.

Quality review

Only reviewable published gyms are eligible, and we check image, pricing, trial, and location consistency.

Performance reporting

Impressions, clicks, saves, coupons, inquiries, and bookings can be measured so advertisers can review performance.

Relationship to normal ranking

Advertisers cannot buy normal search position. Sponsored slots are separate ad placements. Normal ranking uses relevance, freshness, pricing clarity, reviews, location, and similar quality signals.

Ad labeling and compliance

Sponsored placements are labeled so users can recognize them as advertising. External ad links may use rel="sponsored" when appropriate.
